Chicago Tribune: Applicants sought for reality TV show in which participants have adventures

If you’ve been looking for a way to become a reality TV star without leaving Naperville to audition, now is your chance.

Journey’s Dream, a Naperville-based nonprofit that helps provide access to mental health care, has teamed up with Charity TV Global for a “global TV series that combines philanthropy and entertainment,” the organization says.

Applications are being accepted from Naperville-area people who want to be one of a dozen Journey’s Dream ambassadors to be taken on a June 1-6, 2020, trip that will combine such activities as sky-diving, white water rafting and cooking classes taught by professional chefs with efforts to raise $10,000 in 10 months.

The “adventures” will be filmed for Charity TV’s debut American television series. Each episode will feature a different charity.
